• To operate as a small, Sherpa family-run trekking company, focused on developing strong businesses for all of our family members and travelers around the world.
• To organize top quality Himalayan trekking, Kathmandu Valley tours, jungle holidays at Chitwan National Wildlife Park, for groups of four or more using family sherpa guides and suppliers.
• To provide customers with well-priced Kathmandu hotel, intra-Nepal air and intra-Nepal ground transport.
• To witness the Goldern Rule: Treat customers with the same awareness, respect, and attention to safety and comfort.
• To conduct all our trips with a practice of avoiding any disturbance to the local ecology or way of life.
• To ensure that all of our Sherpa family guides are licensed by Ministry of Tourism, knowledgeable about Nepal's culture and terrain, Everest/Solu-Khumbu specialists, experienced in guiding many different kinds of trekkers, enthusiastic communicators, well-trained to use trekking equipment, committed to customer happiness.

Our Customers' Profile;

• We serve trekkers with special interests such as Buddhist cultural festivals and dharma practice in Nepal & Tibet
• However, we do not schedule fixed treks and tours.
• We can organize custom service for groups large and small, including all intra-Nepal flights, lodging, and trail guides.
• In 1999 we organized two weeks of Buddhist festival travel for a group of 85.
• However, more typical are groups of 2-4 who like to climb peaks and visit monasteries for 3 days or 2 months.
• Typically, our customers have done plenty of background reading and knows where they would like to go. But we are happy to discuss all options with you!
• NST also know that they can avoid unnecessary overhead by trekking with a small Sherpa-family-run company like ours that concentrates on the basics – safety; comfortable, affordable lodging; and personalized itineraries.

Tibet travel is becoming more and more popular as Tibet gains western media exposure. About 40-50% of our travel service is for Tibet. Our well-read customers know that Tibet destinations such as Mt.Kailasha can open and close suddenly with capricious choice of Chinese gov’t. Luckily we have good connections in Tibet and can help you plan intelligently!

Our Sherpa family is from Solu, so we have special expertise in Solu Sherpa Buddhist festivals as well.
